A landmark built for the world stage.
The Sir Dawda Kairaba Jawara International Conference Centre is The Gambia’s flagship venue for state, diplomatic, and corporate events — operated by the Banjul International Convention Centre Ltd and set within Bijilo on the Atlantic coast.

Purpose-built for the 2024 OIC Summit.
The Centre was conceived to host the 15th Islamic Summit of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation — and delivered diplomacy at the highest level: heads of state, full protocol, and simultaneous interpretation across its halls.
Today those same spaces are open year-round. From a 1,000-seat plenary to intimate bilateral suites, the Centre hosts conferences, exhibitions, banquets, and cultural events — anchoring The Gambia’s ambition to be a premier MICE destination in West Africa.
To provide state-of-the-art facilities and services that enable transformative events, cultural exchange, and economic growth — whilst promoting sustainable development.
To position The Gambia as a premier MICE destination in the sub-region.
